Meet Dunstun.
Dunstan Munene born in 1978, hails from a humble family. He
attended primary school until 1992 and, determined to pursue education, initiated
a small-scale coffee farm to support his studies. In 2000, Dunstun embarked on
his journey in the tourism industry as a porter for tourists and climbers on
Mt. Kenya. Mastering the mountain’s routes, he soon became an accomplished guide
and collaborated with renowned climbing outfitters across East Africa.
Establishing Dun Travel Safaris
In 2004, Dunstan’s unwavering commitment and outstanding client recommendations propelled him to establish his own company, Dun Travel Safaris. Expanding beyond Mt. Kenya, our offerings now encompass Mt. Kilimanjaro, safaris in Maasai Mara National Reserve and other remarkable destinations across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Today, Dun Travel Safaris stands as one of East Africa’s leading safari and climbing outfitters, celebrated for our exceptional service and unparalleled experiences.
