Itinerary
Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and arrive at the Masai Mara Sidai safari camp. Embark on a thrilling safari drive to spot black manned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
After breakfast, embark on a full day safari drive with a picnic lunch box. Witness the spectacular animal migration crossing at the famous Mara River. Return to the safari camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Spend the day on game viewing in the Mara. Optionally, take nature walks or visit a nearby Masai village during meal breaks. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sidai safari camp (Masai village visits available at an extra cost).
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Visit Hells Gate National Park and the geothermal power station. Proceed to Fisherman's Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
Leave after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingoes and the white and black rhino. Experience the ornithological paradise with over 350 bird species. Dinner and overnight at a low-budget safari hotel.
Drive to Lake Bogoria, abundant with hot water springs and medicinal springs. After lunch, proceed to Lake Baringo for a boat trip to observe various bird species. Dinner and overnight at Robert's Camp Baringo.
Depart for Samburu via Thompson Falls. Enjoy lunch en route and arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu safari camp.
Embark on an early morning safari drive, followed by lunch at the safari camp. In the afternoon, enjoy another safari drive. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu safari camp.
After breakfast, leave Samburu for Mt. Kenya (Nanyuki). Arrive in time for lunch and visit the historic Mau Mau Caves, where Kenyan Freedom Fighters sought refuge during the struggle for independence. Dinner and overnight at the Bantu safari camp.
Drive to Amboseli National Park through Nairobi. Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants and continue to Amboseli, arriving in the late afternoon. Embark on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kimana safari camp.
Start the day with an early morning safari drive, followed by a full day of game viewing. Optional activities include nature walks and swimming at one of the safari lodges (additional cost). Return to Kimana safari camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park via Chyulu Hills. Arrive in time for lunch and embark on an afternoon game viewing drive, including a visit to the famous Mzima Springs. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Banda safari camp.
After breakfast, drive to Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its large elephant population and the famous man-eating lions. Enjoy lunch upon arrival and embark on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the safari camp.
Leave Tsavo East for either Mombasa or Nairobi, concluding the Kenya camping safari.
Accommodations are tented campsites, providing an authentic safari experience. Tents are equipped with comfortable bedding, and camping facilities include shared bathrooms with hot water.
Transportation is typically by 4×4 safari vehicles designed for game viewing. The vehicles are comfortable, with pop-up roofs for better wildlife viewing and equipped with necessary safety features.
The package includes daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are prepared by experienced camp chefs, offering a mix of local and international cuisines. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.
The Maasai Mara and Amboseli are known for the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros), as well as a diverse range of other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
